Ignition

Asked by Baldwinlocomotives Apr 24, 2011 at 05:40 PM about the 1986 Ford Bronco II

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1986 Ford Bronco II.  The wire to the O2 sensor short out, and the fusible link caught on fire and burned in two.  Those are not the problems.  The problem is that when the wire shorted out, the engine began to run sluggishly.  It now has a horrible miss of what I guess to be half the cylinders.  Is that or could that be that the ignition module was damaged during the short?
