can you take out a Chevy s10 2.4 cylinder transmission and bolt it up to a chevy v6 engine

I have a Chevy s10 2.4 cylinder engine that ceased up and was looking to maybe put a Chevy v6 engine in my s10 i am sure I will need to do the gear upgrade and trans

The s10 used a 2.2 engine not a 2.4. The bellhousing is different from the 4 cyl to the v6 (4.3l) so the trans won't bolt up

The V6 has its own manual transmission (4 cylinder uses the NV1500, V6 uses the NV3500) that has different gear ratios and stronger gears. Swap that trans too
