on your headlight cluster and side lights will illuminate...the only thing that ain't comin' on will be the headlights and brights....as you stated the 'fog lights' are gonna be on a separate switch~ this is the DRL....everything except the headlights~

the tail lights don't come on with the DRL,your taillights will only come on when your turn them on.

Still, it is the LAW in CANADA to run with your lights on (quite sensible)...everytime whenever the car is switched to ON~
ok.yes I guess its different from country to country.im in Canada and here its the headlight turn on automaticly like you said its the law as part of the DRL.doe the US have any DRL laws .
Chevy express 2004 cargo van. My DRL doesn't come on every time when its suppose to, although it's on in the instrument cluster. What is the possible reason?
Anytime my ignition is on or my truck is running all of my lights come on even without my light switch turned to the on position. I thought I would have drl and would have to turn on my light switch for my lights to be on, but there on no matter what. Can anyone educate me as to why this is happening. I have a 2003 chevy s-10 4.3L V6. Thank you.
