I have a 98 chevrolet 4x4 truck (5.7). The 2 and 4wd buttons dont light up, niether does it go in 4wd. The 4x4 fuse pops when I replace it. Can someone lead me in the right direction

yea i got a question i have a 93 chevy 4x4 an i put a motor in it it already had a tranny in it when i bought the truck i got the motor in an it want go in reverse or go in 4x4 2 Answers

an its like the shifter isnt hook up to the transfer case but everything is hook up

My 99 k1500 suburban 5.7 liter 4x4 stays engaged n won't disengage the lights on the switch blink on of from 4h to 4l n then stays lit in 4h I have replaced the switch n the actuator in front and it still does the same thing before I replace the motor in the transmission is there anything else I can check or replace that is less expensive the used motor is 100 at junk yard my service 4x4 light was on n off now it stays on all the time any help will be well appreciated winter is here n I get stuck in my yard in 1" snow all the time thank you 1 Answer

Stays engaged in 4h changed the switch n actuator n still same problem what else can it be I think the motor in tranny is good if its staying engaged does it mean the motor in tranny that engages is...
