Changed tranny in 98 chevy k 1500 truck, it won't shift out of first gear. What could be the problem?

Got new speed sensor module a year ago n
sometimes it wouldn't shift until I sped up
to 40-45, I always knew when it was going
to do it cuz speedom. Would lay on 0. Just
changed tranny n it's not shifting at all n
speedom. Lay's on 0. What could be the
problem?

It thinks it's not moving. If u replaced the speed sensor on the trans then it's either the wiring got damaged or the pcm is messed up

The Tranny went out all the sudden while I was driving down the road ,I lost all gears including reverse,n the shifting cable broke at same time,could whatever caused all that to happen have damaged the speed sensor as well?

check the ignition switch. its the black box in the steering column. my truck did the same thing and that was the fix.
