Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just purchased rebuilt 98 Silverado plus all decked out. I haven't had the truck for more than a week and already having a few issues. Noticed both on my way to work. 1. On my way to work this morning my RPMs at idle seemed very low between 500-700, but it also sounded like it was about to die. 2. I have to force my brake down somewhat, once released my truck will accelerate on its own on stop around 12 mpr. Any thoughts on what the issue could be.

RPM's sound normal, actually 700 is getting to high. On your other issue, sounds like the brake booster is starting to go. Having to press hard on the brakes is a good indication. This may be messing with the rpms, I would look at this first. Also run some fuel injection cleaner threw a tank of gas.

My trucks doing the same thing replaced booster still doing the same thing and master cylinder still same thing and check valve

I have a 1998 Toyota and when I start it up and warm it up it starts off on the number 1 on the RPM
