Check the transmission fluid level now that you drove it.
The engine needs to be running when you check it.

Just been rebuilt and just put it in I drove maybe 2 miles around block twice
Well, since it has JUST ben rebuilt, you need to take it back to the re-builder to see what he says. But thats a good point that TrannyMan says about the torque converter. Did you install the trany? or the re-builder. If you installed the trany was the torque converter seated all the way back into the bell housing? By spinning it into place?

Where should it be on stick when off and has normal odor and it was already on the body and I believe spun on fine
The trany fluid should be checked with the engine running & warmed up, but checking it cold, engine not running the level should show about an 1" or 2" above the full mark.

And that will be above the cold marks when not running because I havnt checked it since other day when I was getting agrevated with it but I will check right when I get home tonight and so I can let it idle and heat up just don't drive it and shouldnt mess up worse than what ever is wrong with it now
