I could use some help

Asked by DJ_Howe Oct 21, 2020 at 04:38 PM about the 1996 Chevrolet C/K 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving and let off then pushed the pedal
again and the rpms shot up and it shut off. I'm
suspecting spark plugs and wires or maybe
alternator. Any help would be nice.

I don't think those would be the culprit . Try and pull the codes , not too sure how in a 96 truck , check for loose/broken vacuum lines or anything else under the hood obvious .
