i have a ls2 and a lq4 in my garage i picked up from the scrap yard im building them both. im wondering what type of motor the 5.7 is ? or is it not any more specific than a 5.7 chevy block.....
find specs in a shop manual, I hope someone reading will have one and be able to answer any specific questions on the 5.7 or google it

GEEEEEEEZ - I googled "Chevy 5.7" stroke,bore ,history ----- try it you'll find it.
It should be a LO5 if that helps anything. But just more commonly referred to as a TBI motor. Used between 86- 95. Both the lQ4 and LS2 are bad a$$ motors but not directly interchangable. However doable.
thanks bro i appreciate it, yea i picked up the lq4 from a wrecked tbss i was looking for a lq9 but i found this and was like, i gotta have it. ive had the ls2 for quite a while now and its almost fully built. its gonna b a bas a** bit** when shes done. i might slap on a fat turbo to push it to close to 650HP
