Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I HAVE A 1993 GMC TRUCK WITH VIN # 1GDJ6H1J5PJ512216 HOW DO I KNOW THE ENGINE SIZE

11,205

Open the drivers door jam and look at the manufacturers tags on the frame. It should state which engine the vehicle is equipped with. What type of GMC is it? Full Size or a Jimmy? 4.3L Vortec is the popular V6 for those years but in most full size GMCs of that day its usually 350 V8. Hope this helps!
