I have a 2005 Toyota Highlander V6, 4WD the power steering pump just went. No other problems with it. I was just going to put it up for sale. What price should I be asking for it?

I would repair this will get you more $ above what the price of it is. Especially if you do it yourself. A running vehicle always commands more value than one that does not and the difference in repair price versus sale price is many time in favor of the running vehicle. Toyotas keep their value as you probably know. :)

A new P/S pump is about $150 and replacing it yourself isn't a massive job, so fixing it before selling it is more than cost effective as people normally take the repair cost off the price for something like this (which is around $600 on average). The choice is yours though but the math is in favour of repairing before selling...
