Will the 18" rims and tires from a 2006 X Runner fit on my 2005 4x4 extended cab Tacoma?

I'm looking to give my truck some height and size.  I have a friend who has an X Runner who is upgrading rims, and I am wondering if his 18" rims will fit/work on my 2005 Tacoma (currently on the factory 16" rims).

I would just try them out, but he is out of the area and I can't see for myself....Anyone have an answer or suggestion?

if your truck is four wheel drive than it wont work because it has an extra lug.

As long as the truck has six lugs it will fit. 6 lugs are offered in 2wd prerunners, trds, and 4x4s. I have a '04 taco and it has six lugs and is 2wd
