I realize that it was made in the middle of the year, but the Shelby is the most sought after. The 1964 1/2 is the rarest. But I would like to know how many were made and how many of them were convertibles.

You seem to know what you'retalking about. I have a 64 1/2 mustang with a vinyl top. It has a 3 speed on the floor and a 260 v 8 engine. It was purchased new by my father-in -law and sold to me. It is burgandy color and I have been to Hot August Nights for 10 years and not seen this car. Is this as rare as it seems.

There is actually no documentation for 64.5-66 Mustangs, Ford destroyed the information you are currently looking for, no one really knows how many are out there. So giving a number for it is actually completely inaccurate, when no valid source for that information can be found. So, the answer to your question can not be given due to the lack of proper documentation.

Rifleman"s numbers were spot-on..Alex-youre kidding,right??I have documentation,including paint-codes,and options,for EVERY YEAR mustang,produced,from 1964(including feb.64,pre-production figures)..It"s available at any ford obsolete store!!!

Ford destroyed the documents, and their is significant proof of that, if anyone gives you a number for those model years, it won't be accurate or precise.

In fact, if you were to try and get the marty report on any pre-1967 model mustang, you could not get any reliable production numbers of the car due to the fact that ford destroyed those numbers.

Thanks for the different responses to my question of how rare my Mustang is. As i said I have gone to Hot August Nights for 10 years and have never seen this particular car. We know it was manufactured before May 1964 cause we bought it on May14 1964. Soooooo if it is one of the 101 cars made pre May 1964 1/2 whats it worth as I am ready to sell it. Not versed in this so any advice will be much appreciated.

That is a very tough question to find a good answer to. All 64.5s carry a 1965 vin. I have a 64.5 A code 4 speed convertible waiting its turn to be restored. There is not really any documentation detailing trim and roofs still in existence for 64-66. You would need to have the sheets from all 101918 convertibles 65s built. Then separate the ones that were produced between 3/9/64 and 8/17/64. Whats makes this even harder is Ford says that the last 64.5 was built 7/31/64 and the 65s started the next day. However research has turned up 64.5s as late as 8/17. I think at the end of the day no one will ever know the true numbers for the 64.5-66 Mustangs.

What is your VIN number ... starting with a 5 indicates production year 64 + 65. Last numbers are actual car number. I have 5F08F100909, produced on 12.03 (third ever day of production). The 909 = 909th car produced!

Pete: If your car is the 909th car produced wouldn't the vin number be 000909? I was informed the last six numbers should be the consecutive build number. If I am mis-informed what build would the number 5F07C325011 be?

Pete, i have 5F08F101908. Date on door is 18C (Mar 18, 64). Someone in this post said 49 verts were built before April 16. Like yours that would make mine pretty rare but not sure where those numbers came from. Have you been able to find any source to validate early vert numbers? Thx, Mike

Snoopy: i understand your logic, but can't give an answer other than that's just the way it is. I haven't yet found an answer for what the 1 is. As Mike says, if you check your door date it will confirm your production. If you Google search the vin codes there is heaps of information in the www. Where are you Mike? I'm in Germany, there is a guy here who has something like car no. 124, first day of production. That would be a nice one to have in the garage!

Just this thread, I was looking for information on my early Mustang before i put it up for sale. What i have found over 30 years of research, a rough idea of numbers exist, no actuals. the unit # started with 100000. I actually have a coupe march 10, 1964 build date all original VIN 100597. I was told by someone who worked the line that the lines had multiple models coming down and jsut because my VIN is 597 does not mean it's the 597 Mustang, it in fact means it's the 597th car built including all the other models. I have never validated that. Anniversary of the Mustang so I'm thinking it would be a good time to move my very early all original car.

This is Bob Taylor. I just bought a 64 1/2 mustang with 57000 > miles on it, nice clean car. My son and I are going to restore this fall. > 260 , C4, Wimbledon white, blue interior. Most people say that there were only 92,705 coupes made. but mine is a original, and the vin# clearly states 204,000 But the Vin# has me > confused. I just purchased whatI believe to be a 64 1/2 289 A code 4 speed convertible...It was built the 4th day of August, has the 641/2 hood and beveled bezels, correct spare tire mount, Eaton p/s pump and many other 641/2 items ....yet has an alternator rather than the generator ?...some stats say 64/12 were produced as late as the 17th of August..I bought this car of the fellow that owned since 1974 ...original as ever everywhere

Camaro_red, I believe it is a 64.5 with out a dought. Being push to fill the high demand of orders, Formans on the line did whatever it took, to get them out, and putting a alt. is no big suprize to me! What do you think of my two plant build codes in my vin#?? My build date was July 28, 1964 and my unit # is 204000.Another odd thing about the 64 1/2s. Beautiful car you have there.

Why any car would have a tag showing both assembly plants would baffle most purists... I purchased my car from the man who owned it for 40 years.... Original interior is in incredible shape without a tear in any of the seats

My car has the 641/2 hood and headlight bezels, spare tire hold down is the slot not a J hook, seat belt holes for the front seats are staggered, has one 64 style pig tail on the rear tail lights and one short sealed unit..has the Eaton PS pump...even the seat belts are marked 64...built August 7 of 64

I have a 64.5 "D-code" Convertible with 289 4-speed with a April 13, 1964 build date in Dearborn. Vin is 112830 which should relate to the 12,830 car built. From the above information this would appear to be one of the very first D code convertibles built, but no way to find out any more infor on it, Right????

Here is mine. 641/2 289 high comp. 3 speed manual. all original and complete. FOR SALE! what should it be worth? 5 is the first number in the vin code. last 3 numbers are 755. in barn find condition. ran when parked in 1989.

260 was also first V8 for the Falcons ,Might be Rarer than the Mustangs with the 260.The 64.5 Falcon Sprint is Still Highly Collectible,Espe.the ones with 4 Spds.One of My Buddy's in High School Traded His 55 Metallic Blue Chevy,with Roll& Pleated Interior & 327 He Installed Himself for One ,Tried to Talk Him Out of the Transaction.The 55 ,if Still exists ,is Prob.Still worth More.

hey world this is the octane romancer I'm in possession of 11960 four and a half two plus two fastback Mustang it was produced at Ford Rouge on October 12th 1964 on October 14th 1964 it was shipped to Flushing Meadows Queens with the Worlds Fair was at Park in New York it is not a city or state on the 17th of October it was shipped back to Detroit where was purchased by my mother's friend for her daughter for a graduation present in 65 now this guy has been sitting in the garage since 1973 so it is 33 years above the rest of game and just driving and tearing it up its been sitting in the garage I am in possession of it now and it's here with me in New York I would like to get some numbers with it and you know what's going on but I was with the car and then who's the owned it its got a 289 hypo v8 for Speed Hurst and 9 inch rear end in 2006 I had went to Fort Worth her quarters and I talked to him Mr Robert Kripke who was the world for his story and he couldn't find papers on it so if anybody work for security at will be back in those days in Utopia to company maybe that ship it up to the trucking company I be greatly appreciative

Kinneyhome: who ever told you that is correct, the car in front of your's could have been a Comet, with a vin# 100596, and the car behind your's could have been a Galaxy, with a vin# 100598. There where about 7 different cars coming down the line, at any giving time of day.....hope this helps

Thanks Bob T, I just wonder the History of my car since it was 3/10/64 second day VIN 100597 Wim White, Red Interior 170 CID 3spd (std stuff). How many mustangs built before it, was that ever recorded? I had my car at the Dearborn MI. Mustang Memories car show for the 50th anniv 2014, a lady had the first purchased Mustang Lt. Blue Conv. VIN# 109900 (9k something) so what were these first cars, who purchased? my DSO is Dallas. Would really like to know more about the history of my Mustang but was told there are no records available. I have owned the car since 1984, father purchased it in 1979 from South Carolina. At that time the Local Sec.of State did not track any of the info and i neglected to keep the title, state kept them in that era and everything was manual no computers..

Bob, Yes I meet her at the show. Yes, i was looking for purchase history, i did trace my data plate and all is original, i started restoration in 1984 and finished in 1991. It took a long time (15 years) to find a NOS FoMoCo C0AB-17696-E Mirror, i also have cardboard sun visors instead of padded, those were a choir to find NOS but alot easier in 1980's instead of today. I found out a lot of the first cars did not have mirrors and the dealers put Univ mirror kits on. I have alot of odd stuff, i have talked to the owner of Henry Ford II prototype mustang to compare some of the oddities. Very interested in how many early ones are out there all original and not full of aftermarket parts. I'm also curious about value, i hear all kinds of ranges from std coupe 12k to 50k I understand condition and originality has everything to do with it and a buyer that really wants to purchase. I'm at the stage of getting bored and looking for another project, this time a convertible.

I was told that the lady with the light blue conv. was the first {mustang} ever sold!!!!!in 1964, It wasn't the first ever made, here's was the first one sold..Regardless of the vin# There where hundreds,on car lots all over the country, she just so happen to be the first one documented sold...That is what was explained to me......hope this helps

no worries, but this is exacly what makes the mystery and madness of the first Mustangs so intriguing ... I have heard of a different car which was the first sold. It would be great if we could have the records and not have so many unanswered questions and conflicting Information ... but would that not be a Little bit boring ? and take away some of the charm of the Famous 64' Mustang to which no really knows how many there are ? :)

@rst429 I have what I believe is a 1964 1/2 Mustang. But I am not sure. I bought it as a 1965, but when I did some research on the internet I saw where somebody previously sold the exact same car as a 1964 1/2. Maybe you could help me? Here is the Vin.# 5R07D102112 Here is the Vin Tag.# 65A 3 86 24G 72 1 6 It is a D code which I read that it means it's a 289 4v+ Which I don't understand what the 4v+ Means. Also, would this mean it is the 2,112th Mustang in those colors made? or would it mean it is the 2,112th Made in 1964 or 1965? Also, could it be a 65 because of it having a 289? or could it still be a 1964 1/2 with a 289? It shows that it was made on July 24th I am so confused please please PLEASE help me!

Hey there all....ok, I have done lots of reading..YES, they did make 1964 1/2...but they are called 65's...to say you have a 64 1/2 it must have all the falcon stuff: Generator, lrg horns on the rails, vented front for the battery, "A" stamped on the vent control knob, sharp edge on the hood, spare tire hold down...I do have a 1954 1/2....D Code, 4-barrel, with...4 speed....i took ourt generator (kept it) I put fiberglass gt hood (kept original)..and now have a gt looking pearl white...gonna finally get it on the road after 10 years...maybe sell if the price is right.....Tab

Webroughtcolor: YES....you have a D code, they came with 3 sizes engines....mine is also the 289 4V, with 4speed tranny...now if you have all the other things on the car...(check my earlier post)...than you might have the early 64 1/2...(but sold as 65)

Is there any way to look up information for a replacement data plate, using only the VIN? My VIN is 5F07U194194. The car is painted Wimbledon White, and the interior is all red. The car has a running 170 engine, and the 3 sp manual trans. I know where to find all the codes, but where can I find the DSO and the date? Am I just out of luck? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a convertible with warranty # 5fo8u209086. It has what someone told me was factory air as there are no vents. Not sure what that means as far as rare... built on 7/23/64. Was Raven Black with red crinkle vinyl interior. 170 Iv I6 engine. Anyone know what all this means? In process of restoring. . Thanks...

And yes I have a 64 1/2, with the sharp edged hood, 64 right headlight bucket & 65 left side, small horns, slotted spare tie down, rubber plug tail lights with DOT 64 stamp, falcon instruments, factory air, matching dual door mirrors, Sep. 4th 1964 build date, buuuuttt..... it's titled "1964", because in Oklahoma if the car was built in 64, sold in 64, and registered in 64, "IT'S A 64". Many of us haven't paid attention to local DOT or DMV laws around the country, they differ a lot !!! Mine needs restoration but it is complete and all original, that's why it's for sale now, I don't want to make it a street rod, it should be restored to original.

This way we all can see the bigger picture!...Something is puzzling me though...You said you have small horns, are they mounted on the frame, between the motor and radiator, or on the grill? Does your car have air vents, in front of the battery? Your picture, shows a R, as the second digit, That means it was built in San Jose, California? And the build date states Sept. 4th? Alot of the parts for the mustang, was ran, until they where gone. weather it was a 64.5 or 65. There is only a few,tell tell signs!!....hope this helps

Mike: You do have a 64.5, The fifth digit is a U, witch means it come from the factory with a 170 ci,,, in-line 6... Ford made a 64 1/2 Indy Pace Car. White exterior with blue and white interior. I believe the floor (carpet?) Headliner and dash were blue. Seats were white leather? Vinyl? It was pretty but hard to keep clean. 260v8, automatic, power steering. There was no cable on the gas cap so it got stolen a lot. The 1968 burgundy Mustang I bought later solved the gas cap problem by attaching a steel braided cable to cap and car body. They produced 100 of the Indy 500 Pace cars - 2 for each statem. The dealers had contests, etc. We bought it in Tampa. It did have 3 blue racing stripes (vinyl tape - not paint). I was 17 and thought I was hot stuff. It was wrecked by a fraternity brother in 1966. Total loss.

rst429, Hi, yes, the horns are behind the grill, short carpet (doesn't reach door seal), it doesn't have vents, but it does have an alternator but the dash light shows "generator", it does have the tie down cable on the gas cap. I'm sure there are countless variations of trim and options on this old cars, but as we all know, what makes it interesting is the vast discrepancies within the same model year. One question tho, the original hood has a small hit on the front and some letters missing with the correct numbers stamped on the left underside, so I bought another original 64 hood to replace it and now the numbers don't match; does that significantly take away from the car? jessica: you could order a 641/2 with a 260 or a 289, they discontinued the 260 v8 for the 65 model year, so the only v8 you could get in 65 was the 289, same thing in the inline 6. 641/2 was a 170 ci, and in 65 it was a 200 ci. inline six....hope this helps

What I'm looking for is the total number produced that qualify as a 64 ½ with either the 6 cylinder or the 260 V8. Mine was delivered on may 24th 1964. Paid $2450.00 for it in 1964. It has the original factory vinyl top and the same color as the Mustang shown at it's introduction at worlds fair in April.

The first year mustang, later called the 1964½, was available in two models: the coupe and the convertible. Both of these models were available with a 170cid 101horsepower 6 cylinder engine, a 260 2-V 164 horsepower V-8, a 289-4V 210 horsepower V-8, and beginning in June, a powerful 4 barrel, solid lifter, 289cid 271 horsepower V-8 engine. Also available were a 3 speed, 4 speed, or automatic transmission, and a pick between a variety of rear end gear ratios. A total of 121,538 Mustangs were produced during the 1964½ model run. Mustangs built between March 1964 and August 17, 1964 were identified as 1964½......Again I hope this helps...You could not get a 65 with a 260 V8, But you could order either a 260, or a 289 in 641/2

Got another one for you folks, 64 1/2 convertible, K code, pretty much original and serious restoration project, with original engine and door tag with original rivets. Vin reads 5F08K167701 The door tag reads: 76A F 82 15F 15 8 5 It's a late 64 1/2 car, guardsman blue, blue interior, sold Aug 65 (have original sale contract). Do you happen to have any K code statistics for 64 1/2??

There are no records to verify production amounts for the first 2years. A Guru expert can make a educated guess at best. Oh and let's call them early or pre-production Mustangs built before the regular production run. Everyone's opinions are different. I like to separate them by their generators and engine codes, F, D, U and late K. If a generator has been removed, it can still be verified by the 3 extra louvers in front of the battery. I would classify a early built A code as just that.

Alessandro... The early K codes would only be made in July and part of August, so would be very few. I would guess less than 5,000

Mike, you should read some of my past posts. I'm not a expert, but i know a few differences in a 641/2 that is not on a 65 from the factory..90 degree bend on the front of the radius hood? air vents in front of the battery? a 'A' stamped on the drivers vent nob handle? falcon sprint under the steering wheel horn cap? large horns mounted between the radiator and motor on the frame? carpet stops at the floor not up to the sill? 260 V8 or a 170 in-line 6 from the factory? build date prier to Aug, of 64? There was a few made after that, but none of them where fastbacks??? I have a few more, but i'll leave it up to you to find!!! hope this helps

A lot of the items you mention could be running changes, eg. A code with early hood and head light buckets doesn't make it a "early model". (64½ is not a year). K codes would be seperated by the date codes and a generator/louvers and not just because they have the hood. Left over hoods can be found on A,C even T codes.

Mike: your right on, that's what I was trying to explain to Chipi's post,and others bending the facts to suit there personal agenda. if you read his description of his 65, that he thinks is a 64 1/2 you'll know where I'm coming from...they where built from March to the end of Aug. (ONLY) All my post try to educate and post FACTS motor codes for 64 and 65 is just one fact, that i can't change .I do agree that it's all about the build date. only a few 64 1/2 where built after Aug 31, and they where hold backs for, on line machanical problems . But the left over parts where used on 65's to use them up."...hope this helps...

I have just read all of this and I seem to have a late production 65 convertable. Could anyone tell me more info about it. I know it was built in Dearborn. The vin is 5f08a688291

Rst249 - I've purchased a 64.5 F code in Australia but apparently when it was imported here in 2009 the original plate was taken off and replaced with one that only has the vin # 5F07F166021. How can I find the date and other info that is in the original plate? It has a 260, auto, ragoon red with black and white interior. How many F codes do you think were made?

first of all the 641/2 is not the rarest it is the 641/2 "R" type i think it is called and only 36 convertibles were made that year, i just saw an episode of fast and loud and richard bought one for 50k bucks and was offer 200k for it the same day,i am pretty sure it is called an "R" type

not to mention i would not recommend buying one without proper paperwork due to more are registered then were built meaning that there's a lot of fakes or fake paperwork out there

Carrie, there is no way to get a accurate record of the build date if the plate is missing. You can make a educated guess based on production numbers, Mustang registries and engine parts date codes and body parts date codes. It's sad since all the first 2½ years of production were lost. unit # is 204000 Date built code 28G......JULY 28th, Ford production figures for the "64 1/2 Mustang were never exact...all numbers are estimates or wild guesses...the book "Mustang 40 years states 64 1/2 production 121,538...28,883 convertibles...92,705 coupes...64 1/2 mustangs are identified by block scrtpt "mustang" on fenders...use of a generator instead of later alternator...and a few other minor differances..

I've read with interest this thread. I also have a 1964-1/2 Mustang Convertible - Dearborn built on July 3rd. - SN 5F08D186477. It has all the 1964-1/2 differences along with many options to include AC, Power Steering and Power Brakes and all the rare pulley. I'm lucky in that my data plate is intact. A friend is not so lucky. His 64-1/2 does not have the data plate. It is a San Jose built car. To determine or estimate the date of production - we would have to determine the start of production of Mustangs (now I read it was officially July 10th) to the end of the 64-1/2 (August ?). What I really need to find are other San Jose built cars - compare their vin # to his and try to find one close. I understand the vin# not being consistent but anything would help. Can other 64-1/2 San Jose built car owners please share their information?

Mherring645, I'm no expert on the production numbers or data of the early Mustangs. Your vin number does indicate it was a San Jose built car with a 289 and if I'm not mistaken, it was a very early built car - possibly Ford # 8 built that day but I've heard they didn't start building Mustangs in San Jose until the 10th of July (I've also seen the 13th of July). Again without the records - who knows for sure.

Hey everyone. I just pulled 5F07D130224 out of a barn in Georgia. Its 100 percent complete and original aside from what looks like dealer installed Kelsey Hayes Magnesiums. Red with white and red Interior. Ill post the data plate in the morning. It was last on the road in 1978, The title says the PO bought it in 76. Couple of GA boys brought it back from Cali where they were stationed. They welded tow hooks on the front frame horns, and they ARE STILL THERE. 289 4V 4 Speed car. Crazy. In a barn since 78.

I have a 64.5 from San Jose, 3 speed, luggage rack , stock i think engine is 200 c.i. is the motor stamp the correct place for VIN vs door as some doors are replaced. This Ford Mustang has alternator . My mechanic said under carriage/ chassis is 64.5 .

Ok I have a question, we have a mustang, VIN 5F07A325394 door plate reads: 65A 3 26 16K 25 1 5 Would like to restore it to original, have read a lot and still have lots of questions regarding it. It's clear from reading all of the above it's a tricky subject. Any help would be appreciated

This original question caught my eye when helping a friend purchase VIN 5F07U202645. I have two 65 Mustangs and have followed/studied the car for 40 years. I was always under the impression that there were 121,000 or so 64 1/2 Mustang's made. So, how could this VIN read production unit 202,645 out of Dearborn? The engine code of U is clearly a 64 1/2 only power plant. Under the hood the horns, brake light switch, generator, and such are 64 1/2. The carpet does not come all the way up to the sill plates. Everything seemed right but this 202,645 production number. After a bunch of reading in my books I read a paragraph that said when Dearborn started back up the line for the 65 cars they started with unit 250001. Which tells me (just my guess, really, would still love confirmation on this) they must have made over 200000 64 1/2 units or they would not have used 250001 as the starting point. Learned something new today.

If I have a San Jose built car v8 car 3 speed 4 barrel carb car. Vin last numbers are 100096. Large horns on chassis missing door plate and hood. Is this an important coup car. No rust but needs complete restoration and driver door was changed out. Not running at all barn find missing many small pieces.

Wow, well after reading all this information I am blown away when having called Ford Racing as well as Ford SVT, who are the ONLY two groups that have any data on these early mustangs (IF any info actually survived the warehouse fire) and after having these two teams work for 6 months on trying to identify what number convertible my mustang is, guess what? Yeah, they both came up completely empty handed with apology. :( so I got car 19364, born on April 21st, 1964, 289 VERT Wimbledon White on Rangoon Red. There were 28,883 convertibles made. If you look on the inside of the driver door and the plate should say what number your car is (ex 5/28,883) unfortunately you can’t go off the registration because it’ll say 65 because the dmv system doesn’t do half years.

I believe the discrepancy in consecutive numeric vin... is that the Mustangs were built on assembly lines that also manufactured other models... Falcons, Galaxies, etc... so, the # does not represent the # Mustang built but the # car built at that factory on that built date. We all want to believe our Pony Car is rare... and it is... just enjoy the restoration or ride it gives you!

Is anyone looking for a 260 engine to complete a correct concourse restoration? I have one complete assembly with Eaton Power Steering intact.

In 1986 I sold a 64-1/2 Wimbledon White/Blue interior Hardtop 289 V8 Mustang in Havre, Montana. It was in very rough shape cosmetically, but ran well. . My stepmother originally got the car as a gift from her father back in mid-1964 then later sold it to me. I had no idea how much the car meant to her when I sold it and I would do almost anything to get this car back. Does anyone know how I could locate this car or a nearly identical one? I don't remember who I sold it to and I don't know the VIN. Any suggestions would help. Thank you.

My 64.5 is from San Jose California as well, I believe the engine size is 170cc, is built on the 64 chassis /frame, coupe, luggage racks, runs and drives. Keeping it, is it uncommon for that engine size? Anyone have the sporty luggage racks as well.

I have a 64 1/2 convertible built in San Jose on July 29, 1964. Clearly a 64 1/2 with all the identifying parts. I now have another convertible with a build date of September 9, 1964, built in Dearborn. The body is 64 1/2 with unfinished hood, beveled headlight buckets, phillips screw type hood bumpers, carriage bolt spare tire holder and clip on interior door handles and window cranks. The car has the rest of the 65 stuff, alternator, small horns on the radiator support, etc. Can I call it a 64 3/4?

i’ve owned by 64.5 D code mustang for 9 years. it’s a very original Dearborn built on may 27 1964 - sold out of san jose, CA. 289 4bbl, 4 speed. manual steering and brakes - only thing not original is the exterior paint - was originally a rare B code pagoda green - now 1965 springtime yellow! it’s a driver - and extremely low maintenance!!!

Hello everyone, I am in Sydney Australia and I own a 65' GT Fastback which I brought out from the States in 2006. it has a V.I.N 5R09A203771, but unfortunately no Door Tags. Can anyone advise me if it is possible to get blank ones? I am also assuming that there would be no records relating to its build codes?

Check with Marti auto works here in the states, they remake tags. They have a web site you can search on.

My father worked in the car business and ordered a Mustang for my mother sometime in 1962 or 63. He was at a meeting in detroit and saw it on paper. Not even a prototype. He liked it so he ordered one. I believe it had a really low vin# or engine # and I believe it was one of the first few delivered. She had it in early '64 like Jan - March. People used to stop her and ask what it was as they hadn't advertised them yet. She drove it for 20 years and it still had less than 100K on it. My father bought her a half dozen cars in those 20 years but she returned them cause she loved her mustang. It wasn't until '84 when he bought her a new convertible Mustang did she give it up. My father gave it to his parents for a few years and then sold it without telling any of us kids because he didn't want us fighting over it. When it was delivered to his office the first thing someone did was replace the original hubcaps with wire ones. 30 years or so later after he was long retired someone found them in a box in the back of the mailroom and sent them to him. I wonder how much they would be worth today.
