your wrong. there were 6,426 orange units sold total, out of that number there were 1039 mach1 units built, not sold but built, and 281 cobra coups built not sold, and 72 cobra convertibles built but not sold.. so the 5,034 number you speak of does not take into account for v6 models that came in orange that year and it also isnt reflecting the numbers of total built unites but rather sold units. so the numbers you have are wrong man.

Where are you guys getting your numbers from? I have a 2004 ford mustang gt convertible,;5 spd, in competition orange with factory black mustang lettered stripes on the doors and want to know how many of these were built?
