2000 landcruiser amazon 4.2td vx auto **Gearbox Problem**

i have a problem with the cars gearbox. every time the car reaches 40 - 70 -80 it starts to vibrate badly. does anyone know what could be the problem and how costly it is to fix.

Hi, I think you need to check your two front & rear drive shafts cross joints,it is got nothing to do with your gear box.

change shock damper connected to the fron tie rods

i agree with alfred check your drive shaft universal joint bearings first they are probably shot. if you off road a lot they need cleaning and greasing regularly
