Brake lights blink on/off after car is off - draining battery - why would this happen?

Could be a problem with the ABS controller, brake light switch, or the BCM. You will need to have this diagnosed by a mechanic.

It could be a problem with the security system, if you have one installed. You should have it checked by your automobile electrician. Most Security systems are connected either to the brake lights or trafficators. It could also be with the brake switch(may need adjustments), Don't think it could be the ABS controller.
