Can a 1999 Rav 4 with a 4 cylinder tow a pop-up tent trailer?

What is the trailer weight and how much else do you plan on taking with you? You have to figure passengers and luggage into the towing calculations.

All you have to work with is 1,500 pounds. Read your owners manual to see how much stuff you can take inside the car.
