Mine did the same thing. I replaced the relay. Fixed the issue.

IF this AC system has been properly evacuated and charged with the correct amount of refrigerant, you might want to check the RPM sensor mounted in the replacement compressor. If the AC computer does not see the compressor turning, it will not turn on the AC. You really need a wiring diagram for this AC circuit. This would help pinpoint the problem.
