1998 camry was parked a few weeks ago and ran fine. Now, the engine cranks fine, but will not start even when I spray starting fluid into it. seems like a spark problem, but I'm not sure what to check

Since this vehicle has been sitting for a few weeks I would do a thorough inspection under the hood for signs of Wild Life intrusion. Check the wiring and see if any of it has been chewed. Since it will not try to start with starting fluid...one would next use a Spark Tester at each spark plug connection.

If it cranking check out the fuses and the spark from the spark plug cable provider ll it off and slip screw driver into cable and crank it check for spark
