My engine light is on they will not inspect it because of this I have a 98 rav 4 the code told me it was the idle air control valve I bought a new one whitch was not cheap i replaced it went back to have my engine light reset but the light came back on i was told it could be the wiring oe the computer does anyone have any suggestion how to check these or fix these

I have a 2012 Toyota RAV4, with 26000 miles on it. Its a 4 wheel drive and V6 vehicle. On Friday I came to my car and remote did not work, I manually had to open the door and engine did not start either. I called road side and they jump started the car, I went to apartment leasing office and again engine did not start. Called road side and they came and said it is not a battery problem. She won't pass smog and check engine light on then soon as I read about how toyota have bad rep they start to have tyranny probably. So I sent out the ecm to be repaired showing a code of p1349 .repair shop says the ecm is fine. When they test it on there rav 4 it's fine . Do you know what to make of it . Hard shift pulls back won't smog

I had to have the engine replaced on my Rav4 & when I got it back from the mechanic, it looked like the engine was hanging to low, when I turn the steering wheel, you can see a little arm move if you're looking under the car at the front end, can you tell me what is wrong here. 3 Answers

My 2006 Toyota Rav4 keys with FOB were run over. The FOB is broken, but the key still works and I have driven it. When I went to get a copy of the key, the locksmith could not make a copy of the computer chip. He mad a copy of the key that I had and that works also. Should I be concerned that at some point the key won't work or car will stop running with this key? 2 Answers
