I had to have the engine replaced on my Rav4 & when I got it back from the mechanic, it looked like the engine was hanging to low, when I turn the steering wheel, you can see a little arm move if you're looking under the car at the front end, can you tell me what is wrong here.

Im guessing they forgot to put some trim back on under the front bumper when the engine was replaced, which is why you can see the engine and steering linkage now. The popping noise would be a different problem, should get that checked out.
Thanks, but its the transmission that is exposed, & when I shift u can see it if looking under the car, I went back & asked my mechanic was there supposed to be something covering that up, he said no because it being exposed keeps it from overheating, now I thought that's what transmission fluid was for, anyone ever heard of keeping a transmission exposed so it doesn't overheat, I think he may have messed up & doesn't want to fix it. Help please.

Although I dont know anything about your mwchanic - that arguement has a lot of hole in it. Try to get a reputable mechanic to fix your problem. It may be worth it to pay a little more to get your vehicle running good again.
