My 4runner won't start

i was putting my windows after i got done cleaning the inside and i forgot to turn the key off and not it will not start and it doesn't crank over. but when i open the door a theft alarm type noise goes off and my flashers go on. we tried a battery charger and that still will not work. Anu suggestions

Turn key to on position, but not start it. Push red button on left of steering wheel twice, then start.

My 2000 Toyota 4 runner won't start , it don't even click . Don't have back lights dome lights wipers or anything working inside
