Can someone suggest a fully synthetic engine oil for Toyota Corolla 1997 Csi AE101R sedan?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Toyota Corolla 1997; model AE101R, 1.6lt CSi Sedan car with
odometer reading of 250,000Km.  The car is very well looked after and is in
excellent condition.  I have been using Castrol Magnetic 10W-40 engine oil
which is partially synthetic.  I understand modern synthetic engine oils are far
better than conventional engine oils.  Could anyone suggest which fully
synthetic oil will be best suited for the car?  By the way, I live in Australia and
winter and summer temperatures of the place where the car is used can
range 4-38ºC, if that would influence the answer.

Most oil suppliers have a tool whereby you can look up a suitable oil for your vehicle. I believe Shell Helix HX7 10-4 (Fully Synthetic) would work for your vehicle, as well as many others from http://www.shell.com/motorist/find-the-right- oil.html#iframe=L2F1L2VuX0dCL2VxdWlwbWVudC9jYXJzL3RveW90YS9jb3JvbGxhXzFf NmlfYWUxMDFfNGFfZmVfY29yb2xsYV8yZjZneTNaejVu

I use the factory suggested oil weight full synthetic royal purple in the Mitsubishi I am selling. I think it works well.
