Engin turns stutters as if cold revs low

What engine in this vehicle? Any warning lights on or flashing when the engine is running.
A 1996 2 liter si Toyota engine. The ignition lights go on She cranks starts Stutter's By revving and keeping her to idle she slowly builds up her revolutions And she runs smothly thereafter 15% of time she die's all ignition lights come but we need to push start her
Ok...i suspect the issue may be Fuel Delivery....e. g.....fuel pump or fuel filter. We usually remove the fuel filter and check it for contamination and restriction. We empty said contents of filter into a clear container to check same. Also...pull the engine oil dip stick and smell ....feel...the engine oil sample. Do you smelll Gasoline? If yes....do not start the engine. We have to find out how gasoline is getting into the the engine oil. We then attach a Fuel Pressure Gage and check fuel pump pressure. Get back with results.
