My 94 toyota camry LE cannot be door locked from outside with the key but key can unlock doors from outside and open trunk and start ignition, why is that? is it the right key?

its definitely the correct key, it wouldn't start the engine otherwise. It's has to be an internal problem with the lock/unlock mechanism inside the door. You would have to take off the door panel to take a look at what is happening when you try to lock the door.
