Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My check engine light came on. I'm trying to find the computer connectors so I can test
it to see why my check engine /idiot light is on.

Take it to Autozone or Avance auto parts and they will check it for free. And show you where the test hookup is.

Oh thank you so much. Yesterday my father took out part of the center console where my stick shift is and he couldn't find it. and he couldn't find it behind my glovebox either. So that would be great, If I could get tested for free. I really appreciate you answering my question for me ,very nice of you. Thanks again

advance auto does not do it. it has to be 1996 or newer. i work at advance. i have a 91 camry and it is located on driver side underneath hood next too brake fluid res. small black box
