Asked by Deser Feb 20, 2017 at 07:58 PM about the 1991 Toyota Camry

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I just recently bought a 91 Toyota Camry
from my buddy and he told me originally that
the transmission was going out and the
reverse didn't work so he had it towed over
to my house and instead of him dropping it
off on the street he drops it off at a parking
lot of the restaurant so I put air in the tires
get the car running and I put it in neutral to
push it out so I can get it off the parking lot
and it won't budge I'm in between a rock and
a hard place I don't know what to do can one
of you guys please help me thanks

Not sure where you live, but look at the rotors through the rim. Are the rotors covered in rust? As in where the pads rub? If they are rusted to any degree, that's why you can't move the car. If you can get it into drive, run it in circles in the lot and keep hitting the brakes. That will rub off the rust and you should be able to move it.
