53 Chevy Belair won't start with all new everything (battery, spark plugs, generator, etc)

Asked by farmgirl21 Nov 25, 2016 at 04:03 PM about the 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car sounds like it will start, but there is no spark.  Ran fine for a year; suddenly decided not to start.  We have tried all  we know.  Any ideas?

1 Answer

Bad coil or the points need adjusting or replacing. Check the spark plug wires and the cap too.
