Question type: Maintenance & Repair

when accellerating, no matter what the r.p.m. is, the engine hesitates, and stumbles, sounds like it's going to stall.

Hi Peach! I'm going to guess fairly confidently that the problem lies in one of three areas ... fuel pump, fuel filter, or ignition. I don't know what your level of expertise is but chances are that a Chevy Service Manager will be able to pin down the problem fairly quickly. There are other more subtle problems with vacuum, injectors, or electronics that might come into play too, but I'll bet the problems lies in one of those three areas I described. Have it check out by a pro. Good luck!
