Why my 1989 Toyota Camry will not fire  in
the distributor and it is a new Distributor

Find this under hood Diagnostic connector. It should be on the driver side near the master Cylinder . Connect the point of a Automotive 12 volt Test Light to the IG- test terminal. Connect the other end to a good Ground. Crank the engine over...the test light should blink. If it does blink...everything in the Dist. is good. The problem might be an Ignition coil. Get back with results.
