Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i started my 1989 toyota camery on family day and it had been sitting for 4 months.  not suprisingly it didn't turn the engine over when i turned the key.  i finnaly got it started but when i did it only ran on 2 cylinders until i took the clutch.  it was somking so bad i had to leave the garage and it kept smoking for a long time after.  i took it for a spin and when i got back it was still smoking (not much).  what can i do.  btw this car is my dads car and i only recently got it.

was the smoke comming out of the exhaust or the actual hood? and if it was comming out of the exhaust was the smoke blue by anychance? if so then you are burning oil in the combustion chamber and you would need new piston rings. As for the 2 cylinders you probly have alot of carbon buildup in the combustion chamber and its probly not getting the fuel it needs to run!
