Try this. Use a hair dryer set to Hi....and at a distance of about 2 inches...dry the Distributor Cap and the Spark Plug Wires . Try drying out the area around the Spark Plug Boots and SP. Get back to us with results.
Hi after washing I got the blower vac on to it then the wd40 on all electrics, and has sat with the bonnet up for 2days of 30 degrees Celsius, checked all fuses, got me beat, thanks for any answers. Dave
Ok....it's back to the basics. Do you have a way to check for spark at the spark plugs. Can you carefully remove the distributor cap and check for moisture inside the distributor?

I pressure washed 89 camary and it won’t start . I ran it during pressure wash and then drove several places . It popped a bit next morning then wouldn’t start at all . I went through cleaning mass air flow sensor and replaced distributor cap . Cleaned all electronic connectors It tries to start a bit but no cigar . I due have damaged broke open open fuse box in engine area . I wonder if it’s a major fuse that looks good . I did clean all fuses inside and under the hood and clean out plug wells . I do not know what to check now ???
Any warning lights on or flashing when the engine was running?
