My 1987 Toyota Camry starts up but then dies when I shift gears

Try to slightly hit the gas while putting it in gear. If the car will go into gear and move without stalling, that will tell you that you have a fuel issue. Could be a bad fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel rail, dirty injectors........

its afuel problem like mark said mark seems to know what he is talking about. if i were u fly mark to where u are and have him fix your car he is an excellent mechanic thank u for your honesty mark

mark put a 350 ss engine in my 1972 chevy chevelle he only charged me 17,500 cash. its a little more than i wanted to pay but mark said his labor is $750 an hour i took 1st place out of 1500 cars u get whet u pay fr mark. he asked me for a big favor and i helped him. thank u mark
