After putting a new battery on my 1987 Corvette I have no power to anything including the ignition.

I thought my battery was dead because I had no power at all.  I put my battery charger on the battery.  It showed fault.  I thought the battery was bad.  I put a new battery on and still no power to anything, including the ignition.

MAKE SURE THE CABLES ARE CONNECTED TO THE PROPER TERMINAL. POSITIVE TO POSITIVE, NEGATIVE TO NEGATIVE.
