We 'inherited' a 1985 Toyota Tercel. Does anyone know the curb weight of this car?

Asked by sbecerras Feb 09, 2012 at 01:13 PM about the 1985 Toyota Tercel

Question type: General

We are selling it to the recyclers but have no weight on the title or any other papers. The car was driven across the US, from west coast to east coast, in 2011.. It runs really good and looks good too, but we need to sell due to a sudden relocation. Where do we find the official weight? The recyclers tell us we have to find it and we want to make sure we don't get cheated on weight. Any ideas would be helpful. If we can get $200, we'd be happy.. Does it weigh 2,000 lbs (10 cents a lb)? Anyone know?
