1974 Blazer front clip swap to post 1980

Asked by Blazer1974 Jan 11, 2009 at 02:00 AM about the 1974 Chevrolet Blazer

Question type: Car Customization

Got a 1974 K5 Blazer and was wondering how difficult it was to swap out to a Post 1980 front end? This would include Fenders, Core support and grill. Would the Bolts for the frame and fenders line fairly easy or would there be heavy modifications?

Thanks all.

most of the holes should fit up, and if needed, you could modify the core support so it would match up. the grill should just bolt on. but if you had the money, they do make kits to swap front clips to a later year. hope this helps
