How much is 1982 Chevrolet Blazer worth?

if in good condition you could get maybe 5grand but an old beast like mine is only worth a grand.... but an old vehicle is still a vehicle

hay i have a 1985 and payed 1500 for it. but it was in ok shape and looking 2 by another

2wd blazers are worth more generally because of their rarity, i paid 800 for mine but i got a smokin hot deal, a mint 4x4 is worth up to 8 grand and crap can be had for a few hundred, a mint 2wd can go up to 10 grand, and beaters still going for a grand (people will buy it for the frame only and put a mint 4x4 body on it)

i have a 1985 chevy and love it. but i want 2 redo the motor its a 350 5.7 i thought about a kit or a cheap used motor. but still looking 4 a nother chevy and hope that one has a good motor. any ideas

if u do the work yourself, u can have your motor bored and new pistons for $500, rings and gaskets for $250 and if u need a cam, lifters and timing chain (i would recomend an agressive RV grind), if u want a carb that about $350 (i would recomend a 600 cfm holley) with a combo like this with stock truck heads most machine shops will charge about $400 to re-valve the heads,you would have a tourquey motor that gets much better milage for under $1500 and you will get an easy 70000 miles out of it, much cheaper than finding another truck and taking a chance on another used up motor
