how many built with 283 3 speed on column ss model

I'm not sure how many 283 motors were produced that year and couldn't find that information. I do know that 8,684 Chevrolet Impala SS' were produced in 1964. The number is significant because in 1963, 16,920 Impala SS' were produced which means that the 1964 is harder for a buyer to find and also more expensive (because less were made.)
Thank you for your quick response. I know that this is an orginal car if you can find how many SS were made with a three speed column shift I would be most appreciate the information. The car has never been in a wreck and has 123.000 miles on the orginal motor that has never been opened. I plan to keep the car forever and hand it down to my son. Again thank you Ron
I also have a 1964 Impala SS 283 with a 3 speed on the column. The car has the unique two compartments in the center console where the 4 speed or automatic shifter would be. I heard that less than 200 of this configuration were made but can't find the proof. Does anyone have any information on how many were produced in 1964? Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you.
i have a 1963 impala SS with a 283 with a 3 speed on the column. I do not have anything for the center console so if you could send me pictures as to what it might look like, i would appreciate it. my car has 72,000 original miles but is in the process of being restored. thanks
Hi Burnzee20, I would be happy to, but I think it would work better if I sent them directly to your email address. Let me know. Good luck with your restoration!
I just took six photos for you. Let me know....

How about a 1966 impala convertible with a 327 and a three on the tree for a rarity?
