1965 Impala SS 396 w/Manual Transmission Production numbers
Does anyone know how many 1965 Impala SS 396 were produced with a Muncie 4-Speed manual transmission? I have been looking in the midwest for years and have not found a twin. I did find one on the net, but only one. It also came with a Holly 650 carb. Amazing GM put a Holley carb on that engine instead of one of their own. She is made to go..... Thanks.

I forgot to mention that my 65 has the original Muncie 4-speed in it.
I had a '65 Impala with a bench seat, stock 4-speed transmission with Hurst shifter, 327 ci, dual exhaust, posi 12-bolt rear end. In the center of the dash, where a clock (for SS cars) or vacuum gauge (for others), it had a factor tachometer. I wish I hadn't sold it. It had had a 305 put in it when I got it.
I have a 65 impala convertible 4 speed bench seat with a factory tach I have it now 50 years its my first car
