I need to know of some classic cars that have good mileage

So basically ineed ideas for a classic car that is
good on gas. Whem i say classic i mean like chevy
impala classic, but it cant be that expensive and it
cant be that bad on gas this car being possibly my
first car. I fis not kbow where to ask this so i
thought why not on here.

Classic? I guess you mean American? Old European cars got good mileage because they are smaller and have tiny engines- you want something big? with a V8? Well, you can't have your cake and eat it too-

by the way, that is a photo of the biggest American V8 ever made- 500 cubic inches in the '76 Cadillac Eldorado- front wheel drive and as long as an aircraft carrier- wow

It's NOT an American car, but, an old Honda Accord from the 90s with a VTEC engine gets pretty decent mileage and performance. good luck..

I understand that in 1963 there was a STREET 427 V-8, but due to some reason or other it was never announced and the matter was quickly hushed up. This engine was NOT the Z-11 that was only available to drag racers, nor was it the famed "Mystery Motor" for NASCAR. This was a STREET mill. What about it.
