how many 1978 305 ci 4 speed malibu classic estate wagons did they make
check if the date is late '78 bacause it may be considered 79 eitherway super uncommon to find it with 4 on the floor I had a blue 82 got 23mpg with a 650 quadrajet and performer edelbrock manf. msg ignition and e3 plugs but only had about 105 horse btw it was a 229 v6. do you have aircondt? if so you may have one of the rarest wagons built!
A/C, Power Steering, Power brakes, Power seat, Factory Tach, Full Instrumentation (no idiot lights), Posi., 305 cid, Right& Left Remote Sport Mirrors. Still numbers matching. The only deviation from stock is I installed 3:73 gears in the stock housing, small block 400 cam, Factory aluminum intake with a date correct Quadrajet, and 350cid exhaust manifolds. You can't tell by looking at it, just the way I like it. Nice throaty rumble in the exhaust. It would smoke them in 1st and 2nd and chirp in 3rd and occasionally 4th. And my son knows if I rail 2nd. gear hard enough I can just about turn it around.
