No you wont have to buy new driveshafts if you have a slip yoke but make sure when you install it to check the angle of the pinion to transmission to make sure it will not bind if it does bind you can buy blocks to tilt the axle so that it wont bind
You need to use a shaft stretcher. The transmission goes up in the air higher but the rear end stays stationary. If you can get a longer yoke it may work, but go to a transmission shop to have them stretch your shaft.
ron at miestro moffler and driveshgaft you need to see where the seal rides on the yolk if more than 2 inchs retube the driveshaft also if you put blocks or springs efects the position of yolk compressed 1/2 in from seal with springs if blocks your still hitting the stops call me 602 997 0906
