All lights work won't turn over

Drove my1974  Suburban uphill started spitting
and sputtering then died out try turning it over
would crank and then all of a sudden nothing.
lights everything work except no sounds clicking
or anything. First time its happened.

Sounds like you ran the battery down trying to start it. Need to get the battery charged back up to start. Then you would have to check to see if there is spark. If no spark the ignition control module, rotor and cap and the coil would have to be checked. Remembering on these, the rotor will burn a hole in it to ground and short out. You check by taking it off and looking on the underneath side for a burn mark. Need more just ask.
