Where is the computer located in a 1988 Ford F150?

well its either under the hood on the drivers side on top of thehub or inside the cab behind the dashboard just pop it off and look but id check underneath the hood first

it shoud be on the left side of the firewall.the computer is monted inside but it sticks out the firewall and plugs in under the hood.

yeah its on the drivers side up in the dash.

How do you test yout computer I'm having problems with my timming I can not get it right. But when I unplge the spout it runs fine any help boyz??
