Back lights went out. Changed the fuse
and the lights worked for a couple of
minutes stopped working again. Changed
the fuse again and the lights stopped
working again. Now the fuse is lite up in
the fuse box. What does it mean and how
to fix it

You have a short somewhere to track down. It is possible it is in the back-up switch, but that year vehicle it could be anywhere. Tracing down a short kinda sucks.
