61 body different
hi guys hello from oz just bought a 61 t bird and the rear end od the car is different check the pics for me focus on the rear window area we have never seen a t bird like it an thoughts cheeers troy

but why oes it look different to the 61 and the 62
if this is true is this a rare shape considering the measurements are all different i thnk the roof is different the side panel is definetly thinner and has an angle to the rear of it i havent seen another with that big stainless trimm and the wide panel between the window and the bootlid that resembles a panel off a convertible
what I think is ,is it has been rearended was a convertable and replaced the rear clip with a hard top.
nah dont think so papa the vin numbers show it was made a hardtop. what i have to relly push here is that everything u see about this area of the car looks original including mouldings it doesnt seem to be a job done after production . do u think ford usa might be able to help me at all
maybe,it could be a aftermarket piece of crome trim.research the vin #,should be able to get your answer.
hi guys well by the looks of it i think the roof has been customly changed if u can call it that. now the intersesting part is figuring out what cars roof it does have and is better to change it back to an original roof which is the way i am leaning
