Are there 2 different front ends for the 1969 Thunderbird 4 door? I see pictures of some that have a flat nose and some that have a pointy nose.
I'm looking at buying a 1969 Ford Thunderbird and I'm trying to research the
car and I keep seeing some 4 door Landau with a flat nose grill and some with
a pointy nose grill. Does anybody know if I'm looking at different year cars or
was there 2 different front ends?

The 70's got the beak. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Thunderbird#Fifth_generation_.28 1967.E2.80.931971.29
Here are photos of 68, 69 and 70 Thundnerbirds
Well, just found out you can only send one pic at a time so here is the 1969. The white one is a 1970
And this is the 1968. Now you can tell them apart

Thank you so much OldTimer37. Do you have a picture of a 1970 4 door Landau? I think the seller has a 1970 4 door Landau and thinks he has a 1969. His car definitely has the beak.

I found it OldTimer37. Thank you again for your help. There's no substitute for experience.
Glad it was a help. The beak is a dead give-a-way. Thanks for the best answer check. Have a great and safe holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
