lowering the convertible top

Hi All , I cant lower my roof ! I push the button on the right hand side as it says in the manual but all I hear is the worm drives working and the trunk lid raises at the rear , and bows/flexes but the front of the trunk does not raise ! can anyone help please ??

Those car tops are fairly complicated. I would try to find a T-Bird specialist rather than let some hack play around with it. If you are a do-it-your self kind of guy then post this question on a "Jet" bird forum.

On the deck lid their is a switch at right front of inner panel on body that ma be stuck,so 2nd faze of top opperatation can't actuate. It is called plunger switch.
