when i turn on keyswitch a ornge arrow comes on when cranked goes off,dont come on until car hits

100 mph. my sc is auto so i know it cant Be a shift light unless my car will run that fast in 1st .shift patern is 1 D OD N R P. THE ORANGE LIGHT AN ARROW POINTING UP ON TACK SIDE.LIKE I SAID I CAN BE IN D OR OD AND NEVER SEE IT AGAIN UNTIL 100 MPH,COULD IT BE A WARNING THE SUPERCHARGER IS GETTING READY TO OPEN UP.THIS IS JUST MY IDEA.THANKS.

Probably is a supercharger warning or a tach warning of some sort.
ONLY THING IT IS ONLY TURNING 2500RPM AT 100 THIS CAR IS AWSOME.THANKS,OH IT IS ONLY AT 8 POUNDS OF BOOST AT THIS SPEED,IT HAS 15 POUNDS OF BOST NO VAC.LEAKS, AND BOOST GUAGE IS RIGHT.THANKS ANY MORE SUGESTIONS.
only thing is only turning2500 rpm at 100 mph. this car is awsome is running around 8 to10 pounds of boost at this speed no vac leaks all guages is in working order. any other sug. on orange arrow.thanks
You sure it's not the ABS light? That's the only one that I can ever remember coming on in my dad's 1990 SC Cougar XR7. I'll ask him if he remembers anything about it. The SC creates 8 lbs of boost stock.
