1965 mustang 289 vibrates!?

Asked by Dennismukhin Mar 24, 2020 at 08:29 PM about the 1965 Ford Mustang

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys. 1965 mustang 289 just purchased it.
Vibrates incredibly bad at idle, in park, drive.
Changed my plugs, checked my wires today,
changed my harmonic balancer and nothing has
changed. Motor and tranny mounts seem fine..
Amy idea?

is it a stick or auto???????????? flywheel/converter????

It’s an automatic. Rotor, cap, condenser is some electronic one that I’ve never seen. Will probably replace it with points.. I haven’t done a compression test yet. Could be a dead cylinder, I think the converter replacement will be out of my wheel house! Thanks for the ideas
